How uncertain ARE you?

I sat down to write about oil again.  Cease fires.  Interest rates.  Mortgage app trends.  But in the middle of all this, I realized I had no idea where this stuff would be next week.  Or the week after.  Because it seems like everything is moving so fast in the world.  Then I started thinking about uncertainty.  Because that’s how I feel.  Uncertain.  Then I wondered if everyone else feels that way too.  Or do I just feel it because I follow the news?  Then I wondered if I should even follow the news.  Because while it’s nice to feel like I know what’s going on in the world, does it even matter?  Like, does what I know is happening in the world affect what I do on a day to day basis?

I’d actually argue, no.

While the goings on may affect something in my brain, I still need to do what I need to do every day.  And while my overall strategy may change based on long-term trends, I’m not buying and selling homes based on daily spikes.  And my guess is, neither do you.  When you buy or sell a home, it’s based on your needs, your life.  Not that chart up there.

So today, I’ll spare you the economic analysis.  Do you have anything interesting going on right now?  I’m really only qualified to give advice if it relates to real estate, but even if it isn’t RE related, please share!  I’d love to hear :)
